~ [Thoughts] Touching memories from foundation ~

Last week our English lecturer wanted us to give a presentation on any topic today.

I prepared a speech instead of a presentation.

This title reminds me a lot of beautiful memories for the last 2 years.

This title was my first speech for public speaking in Foundation Sememster 1.

I really put a lot of effort in this title because it is my first speech in the varsity.





Today, when tutor ask me to present my topic, I went to the front and start presenting my so called "speech". haha…

While I was presenting, i felt so sad and so touching because I felt the feeling when I was presenting it when I was in foundation. No one is able to feel the heartache of mine.

At that very moment, I felt I went back to the past.

Meet old friends. Standing infront of TA3 again. A blur vision of that scene strikes out.



But then,

Some friends were terminated, change colleges and went to Kampar.

How I hope I could see them once again and give them embraces as much as I can.

Thinking of this,

my heart breaks into pieces like crystal,

expecially when I am presenting such romantic speech.




I miss them, I miss my foundation class, I miss everyone,

No matter friends, beloved classmates, lecturers and tutors that took great care of us.

All friends are like my treasure.

I can’t afford to lose all of you.




Try reading my speech.

Speech: What does true love means?



What do you all understand about true love?

Well, true love refers to a very deep and touching feeling of affection for someone you are sexually and romantically attracted.

Plus, you are able to look at the person’s good and bad qualities day in and out,

still want to be with them ,

still want to have and hold a relationship with them.

You are in love when you feel something more than friendship,

but you can’t describe the feeling you encounter.





Love,

in my opinion is a choice, we choose to love and choose not to love.

If you choose to love,

you have to bear your responsibilities but not frivolous towards it.

For your information, true love is based on a person’s feeling.

It is only feeling that can tells you that you are in love with that particular person deeply.

You love them for who they are, no matter they are, cripple, physically disable and so on.

That’s feeling.

No because, No why, No Reasons.

Feeling starts from your eyes then heart.

Once you saw and that special feelin’ comes into you, that’s true love.

It is not love in first sight. Itz the feelin’ that comes in you.




Besides, true love shall include sacrifives too.

You can like someone without being committed to them or caring more about them then yourself.

True love means you genuinely care about the person and act in their best interests even when the emotions aren’t there.

Itz not just an emotion,

but knowledge of how much the person means to you,

that results in an active commitment and choices consistent with doing what is in the best interests if the other person itz simply because you care for them,

you are not only willing to die for the person,

but even to live for them.




Furthermore, you can’t describe why you love your partner.

As we call this as,

love in blindfold because love is blind.

You accept their positive qualities and rather also accept their negative qualities.



Why?

Thatz because true love is intangible.

The negative qualities you might just after it from you mind or even treat it as their positive qualities too.

No matter what they do, you will still forgive you.

You only know that you truly love him or her.

Thatz all.





In the nutshell, true love is basically very fragile because it is feelings from the heart.

it is just like a heart shape crystal,

once broken,

itz broken.

It will never be the same again.

It has became a shatter crystal and as a wound at the heart.




So, here will be a poem to end my speech.











It doesn’t take a reason to love someone,

but it does to like someone.

You don’t love someone because you want to,

You love someone because you are destined and fated to.

Itz because you fall in love with them,

So much so, you then try to find a reason,

but you always come up with one and only answer,

that is no reason.

It doesn’t really matter what the eyes are seeing,

because I’m in love with you,

only you.




Love is not in the air,

it is in your one and only heart,

It doesn’t really matter what you are,

but I love you for who you are,

and therefore,

Our true love turns into a drop of tear

and

remains in our heart forever.
